Thanks for interesting insights into addictive "theory". I have been a victim of addictive mythology. My professional license has been suspended.
Although my drug/alcohol screens are clear...I must be addicted to something because someone once said I was. I have been told that I have no pain and have never had any pain. The use of medications for pain was purely recreational. The whole process has taken 6 years...whatever the process was. I am still not allowed to even know what the accusations are let alone have any input into an explanation for their findings.
The last psychiatrist said that although there was no evidence...I must be hiding addictions to mind altering substances because of strong family history.
There's no point in fighting.
I'm done.
